URGENT ATTENTION TO ALL GPs & PRACTICE STAFF - Patient-Initiated Aggression in General Practice: A National Study Patient-initiated aggression in general practice - A national study (closing soon) - The The online survey we conducted in October last year drew a small response rate, however, literature suggests that two out of every three Australian GPs have experienced some form of patient-initiated aggression; and that over time, even the mildest forms of aggression can have a negative impact on service delivery and on staff health and well-being. To increase our knowledge of GP and other practice staffs experiences with patient-initiated aggression in the practice setting, we are targeting 19 Divisions across
Previous online survey respondents need only to return an empty reply paid envelope. This is the last opportunity that GPs and practice staff will have to contribute to this research, and it is important that we capture your experiences as fully as possible. Paper-based surveys will be mailed on 24th February with a closing date of 12th March.
A reminder card will be mailed on 3rd March. The GP survey takes 7-10 minutes to complete, and the Practice Manager (or other practice staff) survey takes about 15-20 minutes to complete.
We thank you in anticipation of your participation in this important study.
